bookish:

Natalie here—I’m Bookish’s YA and Sci-Fi & Fantasy Editor, a former fanfiction writer and a huge Rainbow Rowell fan. When I first heard about “Fangirl,” that GIF was basically me. I couldn’t believe that someone was actually writing about fanfiction in a mainstream book, writing about slash (!!) and not portraying fanfic writers as weirdos. (OK, a little weird, but in a super-endearing way.) Then I got to read “Fangirl” months early—I devoured it in maybe two days.
Now, I’m psyched to reread it for Reblog Book Club! Can’t wait to join the conversation and see what everyone says. In the meantime, I wanted to point to the auspicious timing that we’re giving away a copy of “Fangirl” today. All you have to do is tweet @BookishHQ who you ‘ship, and why.
